About us

We believe that every person deserves their road back to participation, in their specific sport, to be unique. We know that many factors, for example, work, family, school, and pressures of competition and loyalty to your team have a major influence on this journey. That is why your rehabilitation process in our practice will always be

Holistic
Injury specific
Person specific
Sport-specific
Level of competition-specific

We have a strong desire to develop our staff professionally and continuously. We believe in a well-structured referral system and love working in an interdisciplinary team of coaches, Specialist Doctors, Biokinetics, Occupational therapists, etc.

“What a journey and privilege it has been to see this practice grow”, Merike Hopkins stepped into this beautiful town of Paarl just over 7 years ago and took over the reins from the very talented Ronell du Toit, who was adamant that this practice should be a beacon and a haven for sportsmen and women wanting to get back at what they love to do. We all still have big shoes to fill. May she rest in Peace.
